Benefits
Professional Training, Development and Event Attendance
Each institutional department has a budget to support professional training and development as well as attendance at professional conferences and/ or workshops. Funds provided may not always cover full expenses. Supervisor and appropriate VP approval is required.
Flexible Summer Hours
Starting the Monday after graduation and continuing through the Monday that classes begin, supervisors will work with their staff members to allow some schedule flexibility. Each Vice President will work with their teams to plan schedules allowing all our offices and facilities to be open during standard hours. Flexibility will be determined by the scope of responsibilities in a particular department or office.
Workers' Compensation
Workers’ Compensation XE "Workers’ Compensation" insurance provides wage-loss and medical benefits to compensate employees who are injured or contract a disease as a result of employment. Following injury or the onset of a job-related disease, the incident must be reported as soon as possible to the Office of Human Resources so that a workers’ compensation incident report may be completed and mailed to the institution’s insurance carrier. FMLA will run concurrent with any work-related injury. Please click on this link for more information.
Dog Friendly Campus
The Â鶹¹û¶³ Dog Friendly Policy allows faculty and staff the privilege of bringing their family dog, defined by the University as having been in the family for at least one year and being of at least one and half years of age, to campus. Click on this link for Moravian's dog friendly policy.
