The Speech-Language Pathology Doctorate program at Â鶹¹û¶³ is designed for practicing speech-language pathologists who are currently engaged in clinical, academic, or administrative practice. Our program focuses on developing both research skills and advanced clinical-practice skills, giving you the opportunity to meet your specific personal goals. As a graduate of the SLPD program, you’ll gain a holistic and elevated understanding of how to continue to support individuals in your field and will learn how to integrate your research into practice.

Program Overview
In less than two years, complete your Speech-Language Pathology Doctorate degree entirely online with just one three-day summer residency. This is your opportunity to advance your career and support the unique needs of diverse populations through interprofessional education and evidence-based practices.
In your final year of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a mentor in a specialized area of focus. The mentorship is completely individualized and focused on your specific career goals. For example, you can learn more in the content areas of dysphagia and dyslexia, or you can dive deeper into teaching and learning practices, lead a statewide advocacy project, conduct clinical research, or develop a business plan for your own private practice. The possibilities are endless.
Program Outcomes
Within five academic semesters, you’ll have elevated your confidence, skills, and knowledge to benefit your career as a speech-language pathologist. Upon completion of the program, you’ll be able to:
- Develop proficiency in advancing the field through the application of empirical evidence.
- Refine the ability to lead and advocate for change in healthcare or education policies.
- Inspire others through effective communication, innovation, and strategic decision-making.
- Translate research findings into clinical practice, evaluate program effectiveness, and promote the adoption of best practices.
- Design high-impact and inclusive teaching and learning processes that meet the needs of adults in higher education and adult learning settings within K–12 school-based systems locally, nationally, or globally.

$33,600 total cost for 46-credit program (includes four on-demand courses at zero cost)
$31,200 total cost for 40-credit program available to Moravian alumni (includes one on-demand course at zero cost)
